Draft for review · 29 October 2026Operator identity, eligibility, applicable jurisdictions, complaints, cancellation, liability and governing-law provisions remain to be confirmed. This document must be completed and reviewed before public launch.
The service
Trading for Charity helps people organise campaigns, define pledges against qualifying trading profit and record donations confirmed by a giving provider. Brokerage and giving integrations are currently being tested.
The platform does not place trades, manage investments, pool trading capital or take custody of charitable donations. It does not provide investment or tax advice.
Accounts and participation
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. Only connect a brokerage account you are authorised to access. Review the campaign dates, charity, pledge percentage and optional limits before confirming.
Participation and available actions depend on the campaign’s current stage. Leaving a campaign does not reverse a donation already completed through the giving provider.
Pledges and calculations
A pledge is calculated using the campaign window, your participation window, your confirmed rule and available qualifying broker data. Estimates can change during reconciliation. Missing data can delay or prevent a final calculation.
An optional minimum can apply without positive qualifying profit. A pledge or estimate is not evidence of a completed donation.
Donations and third-party services
You complete donations through the giving provider’s checkout. Review its terms, fees, recipient details and receipt information. Questions about a completed payment or refund may need to be handled with that provider.
Broker access is supplied through SnapTrade and giving checkout through Every.org in the current implementation. Availability depends on those services and the supported accounts and charities.
Responsible use
Do not publish misleading campaign claims, impersonate another person or charity, or use the platform for unlawful activity. You remain responsible for your trading decisions and any losses. A fundraising campaign should never be a reason to take more trading risk.
