Privacy notice.

What the current platform uses to run accounts, calculate campaign pledges and record giving.

Draft for review · 29 October 2026

The controller’s legal identity and address, lawful bases, exact retention periods, international transfers and the applicable rights and complaint routes remain to be confirmed. This document must be completed and reviewed before public launch.

Information used by the platform

Account information includes your Google email address, name and profile photo URL, authentication records and security information. You can change your display name and hide your Google photo in Settings. Photos remain hosted by Google. Campaign information includes content you submit, participation, pledge rules and campaign dates.

Broker connections use provider account identifiers and encrypted connection credentials. Eligible trade information is processed to calculate qualifying profit and the resulting pledge. Donation records link a provider-confirmed gift to its campaign and donation intent.

Why it is used

This information supports Google sign-in, account recovery, campaign participation, pledge calculation, donation matching and investigation of errors or abuse.

Campaign pages publish campaign content and aggregate activity. Brokerage credentials and private account details are not intended for public display.

Services involved

The current implementation uses Google for sign-in, Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Cloudflare for media storage and background scheduling, Resend for campaign emails, SnapTrade for broker connectivity, Every.org for giving, and PostHog for product analytics. Those providers also process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

Giving checkout is hosted by the provider. Review its privacy choices and receipt information before donating.

Product analytics

We measure account creation, campaign participation, broker provider popularity, pledged amounts and verified donations using internal user and campaign identifiers. These events do not include your email address, name, broker account numbers, credentials or individual trades. Optional browser analytics measures page visits and campaign setup steps after you opt in.

Declining browser analytics does not stop the server from recording completed account, campaign and giving activity. PostHog retention and account-erasure procedures must be included in the final production retention schedule.

Retention and your questions

Broker data is used for campaign calculations and reconciliation. A complete retention schedule for account records, calculation data, verification records, logs and backups still needs to be published.
